Itinerary

Day 1
Honolulu
Hawaii's state capital and only major city is a wealth of historic and cultural delights.  Board the Pride of America and begin a fabulous cruise around the beautiful Hawaiian Islands.

Day 2
Maui
Take an optional shore excursion in Maui today! A surplus of natural splendor and the genuine hospitality of its people have helped to make Maui Hawaii's second most popular island. Explore the fascinating history of the town of Lahaina. Picnic at a nearby plantation, plant yourself on a pristine beach or play one of the world's most beautiful golf courses. Optional tours to Lanai available.

Day 3
Maui
Take the optional shore excursion today, the Road to Hana.  Sit back and enjoy the sights along the famed Hana Highway without having to navigate the twisting, curving road yourself. Take in the incredible scenery including lava cliffs, tumbling waterfalls, the rugged northern coastline, and tropical hillsides. After lunch, head to the Kipahulu District of Haleakala National Park where you'll have the chance to photograph the glistening pools formed by several waterfalls cascading down the side of Haleakala.

Day 4
Hilo
You may see the spectacular Akaka Falls, a cascading waterfall of 422 feet.  The Big Island's most tropical town is nestled between Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa.  Visit Volcanoes National Park to see Mount Kilauea, an active volcano.

Day 5
Kona
Explore beautiful tidal pools by foot or with snorkel.  The sun always seems to shine on this part of the west side of the Big Island.  Visit the Captain Cook Monument and the sacred Pu'uhonua o Honaunau.

Day 6
Kauai
This is the land of rain forests, smooth, rounded mountains, cascading waterfalls and towering ocean cliffs.  Visit the Fern Grotto and Spouting Horn. Careful, you may get wet.  You must see Waimea Canyon to believe it.

Day 7
Kauai
An option today is the Na Pali Explorer, which takes you to the base of mystical 4,000-foot-high sea cliffs. Sea caves and cascading waterfalls are scattered along this huge green stretch of remote rainforest coastline. The Captain and crew will provide narration on the history and mythology of the area before you take a plunge and begin to snorkel the crystal-clear waters teeming with marine life.

Day 8
Honolulu
If time permits before your flight home, bid farewell to Hawaii with an optional tour of Oahu. Depart the ship and begin your journey home with fond memories of your Grand American Tour.
