Itinerary
Day 1 – Stone Town
On arrival in Stone Town you are met and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay. Have the afternoon to wonder the amazing architecture of Stone Town and immerse yourself in the island’s colourful history. Overnight Tembo House.
Day 2 – Zanzibar Coast
This morning after breakfast we will embark on a city tour of Stone Town followed by a spice tour to learn about the island’s prominence in the spice trade. This afternoon transfer to the beautiful beaches of the coast and to your idyllic beach-front hotel. Overnight Sunshine Hotel. (B)
Days 3 - 5 – Zanzibar Coast
Three days of leisure on the coast where the activities at the hotel include swimming, snorkelling, sea kayaking, diving, water sports, dhow trips and nature trails plus visits to a dhow workshop and the brooding caverns of the Mangapwani Slave Caves where slaves were hidden after the abolishment of slavery made their shipment illegal. Overnight Sunshine Hotel. You will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight on Day 5. (3B)
