Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Arrival and Transfer from Bordeaux   airport or train station. Light cocktail lunch. Time to unwind, explore the gardens. Before dinner Suzanne will tour with you her private organic kitchen garden. Dinner at the  Orangerie of the chateau.

Day 2: Local Market / Wine Education

Visit to an authentic outdoor market in the area. Return to the chateau for a cooking class followed by lunch.
In the late afternoon we will meet in the Orangerie for a wine education and a discovery of Bordeaux wines: tasting 7 different wines from  Bordeaux vineyards. Suzanne will share her extensive knowledge with you
Dinner at the Orangerie of the chateau.

Day 3: St. Emillion Medieval Village / Village of Bouliac

A day long excursion to one of the world’s most famous vineyard regions listed as UNESCO heritage site.
After breakfast we’ll head to the medieval village of St. Emilion You will have a guided tour of the monuments.
Lunch will be on your own in one of the many bistros. You will have some time to walk around and explore on your own this beautiful Gem. We will meet in the afternoon for wineries visits and wine tasting. Return to the chateau to freshen up. Dinner tonight will be in a local bistro, in the village of Bouliac.

Day 4: Tour To Arcachon

Tour to Arcachon. The oysters of the Basin are famous . we will visit an oyster farm. A real "farmer of the sea" will tell you about his art and let you taste this king of all festive dishes. Enjoy lunch and spend some tome in this lovely sea town.

Dinner at the Orangerie of the Chateau.

Day 5: Lunch on yourown

After breakfast we will have a walking tour of Bordeaux. Lunch on your own The afternoon is all yours in Bordeaux for shopping, biking, walking on the river.

Day 6: Departure

This morning we will say goodbye to our wonderful host and beautiful region.
