Itinerary
Day 1 • Arrival at the Charles de Gaulle airport in Roissy, where you’ll be greeted by your English-speaking driver. • Enjoy a private transfer to your lovely 4* centrally located hotel in the heart of Paris. Choose from a luxury boutique property near the Opera or in St. Germain. Both have undergone major renovations, providing the most modern conveniences with old world charm. (Other options and upgrades available) • Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.Day 2 B • Today, choose one of the following included activities, such as: -A private professionally guided tour of Paris including a private visit of a major museum such as the Louvre or Musee d’Orsay -A local market visit followed by a special cooking class with a local chef -A full day VIP private tour of Champagne -A full day private tour of Versailles and Giverny -Other options available as well • Return to your hotel in the late afternoon. Enjoy evening on own.
Day 3 B • Today is yours to explore and discover Paris on your own.
Day 4 B, L • Check-out and enjoy a private transfer to the train station, and continue your journey to the wine region of your choice. Choose from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Avignon (Chateauneuf du Pape), Loire Valley or Champagne.
• Take a high speed train to the region of choice, roundtrip 1st class tickets included.
• Arrive at the train station, where you’ll be greeted by your English-speaking, wine expert driver.
• Start your private wine tour which will highlight the best the region has to offer. (Please refer to the specific wine region Sojourn Package for specific itinerary details.)
• After spending the afternoon touring, check into your 4* Luxury Hotel, Relais and Chateau member property, or Chateau Hotel, and enjoy an evening on own. We will provide recommendations for dining based on your preferences, and will make reservations for you at your hotel should you choose to dine there.
Day 5 B, L
•Today we embark on a full day of wine touring. You will be hosted as vip guests at some of the most impressive estates of the region of choice, chosen especially for you based on your wine preferences or specific requests. In the morning, enjoy 1-2 tours and tastings with your wine expert guide.
•Take a pause as you enjoy a lunch filled with local specialties of the region.
•Continue on your explorations with another tour and tasting before returning to your hotel for an evening on own.
Day 6 B, L
•Another full day of guided touring with your wine expert/guide awaits you. We will customize your day to suit your preferences. We will either continue on with wine discoveries with your wine expert/guide. Or if you prefer, you may want to enjoy a bit of free time on your own for shopping, spa treatments, or a city tour. You may also choose to have a cooking class with a local chef. Want a couple of different activities today? Just let us know and we will be happy to accommodate to your requests.
•Enjoy another lunch, a favorite of the locals of the region.
•End your day with a transfer to the train station and travel via high-speed train back to Paris.
•Continue your journeys with fond memories of your taste of paris and Beyond tour. (If flying home the next day, we recommend you stay at the Sheraton in the airport.)
