Some friends and I ridden 10-day bike tour around lake region.We cycled about 330 miles (500 km) Bergamo - Como - Menaggio - Ponte Teresa - Varese - Milano. Jerry was helpful, accommodating, and fair. I enjoyed and appreciated my interactions with him. I will happily refer friends and family to his company! And, I can hardly wait to return and ride from him again. Really.

Itinerary
INTRODUCTION A flexible and varied week end in magnificient Amalfi
Coast and wine roads of Benevento area. This travel
can include more cycling possibilities : short and easier route and a longer or
more demanding route for the keener cyclists, walking and culinary excursions. The trip
start in your hotel/railway station/airport in Naples or Sorrento when the
company pick up and transfer the tourists to the farm and wine roads of
Benevento area where will ride by bike and will visit the production cycle of
farm and taste local products. At the end of the day our customers will be
transferred to Amalfi Coast. Amalfi Coast,
It was an extremely important maritime republic and it holds some of the
world’s most famous monuments and an amazing landscape. We will have daily
excursion by bike along the scenic roads of this coast. The week
weed will continue with visit at Pompeii archaeological site and lunch in local
traditional restaurant under the Vesuvius volcano. Normally the journey is enriched by the presence of
Mr. Jerry that with his knowledge of people
and territories will help you to have an unforgettable experience. Breakfasts,
dinners and last lunch are included and made by local typical and natural
products. This wonderful tour experience is
available all year and is cutomed-planned for every season. DAY 1 : WINE ROADS AND FARMHOUSE PICK UP in NAPLES or SORRENTO Transfer from your hotel/railway station or airport of Naples (or
Sorrento) by minivan to the wine roads
of San Salvatore Telesino in Benevento Area. The day start with the transfer by van to San Salvatore Telesino where
we will start our bike excursion with the visit at Grassano’s Park. In this
place you can drink water from the source (8,000lt/sec). From Grassano Park we
will leave to Benedictine Abbey (original from 217 a.C.) where we have a guided
historical tour of this nice Abbey. After guided tour we leave by bicycle along wine roads to local farm
where we will visit all steps of production cycle of Mozzarella. After the tour of farmhouse activities we will have lunch with local
typical products produced exclusively by the farmer (various kinds of cold
meats and salami, natural yougurt, cheeses and vegetables). After the visit we relax in the vineyard. We close this excursion with the visit at the
Telese Bath for drinking a glass of the
famous sulphurous, calcium, magnesium and
bicarbonate water of Telese Bath. The natural mineral water “Telese”has a typical and unique odor, is a
well-liked drink with a sparkling taste, due to carbon dioxide. Rich in mineral
salts it is know to regulate the salt and watr balance in the body. It is
recommended for chronic gastritis and for costipations. This water can be used
in aerosol it has decongestant and normalizing proprieties for inflammations of
the upper respiratory tract. Applied to the skyn has a normalizing and
quenching effects in most skin deseases/problems. At the end of lunch, we will have relax moment under the plants of
wineyard At the end of the day we will transfer or customers to B&B Farmhouse
in Amalfi Coast (AGEROLA) where we will have dinner. DAY 2 : AMALFI COAST After the Breakfast we will have small workshop with illustration of all
details of Amalfi Coast excursions. We can ride along 2 routes : -
Transfer to Amalfi,
riding to Minori, Maiori and Cetara -
Transfer
to Amalfi, riding to Conca dei Marini, Furore, Praiano and Positano The distance for every route is the same : 11 miles. We will ride slowly (8km/h) and will enjoy the landscape and the colors
of this coast. At the end of excursion we can come back to Amalfi by bike or by van After the breakfast will start the excursion : transfer by minivan to
the center of Amalfi. In Cetara or in Positano we will eat at local restaurants where will
taste local products. In Cetara will be possible taste the ‘colatura di alici’ (dripped
anchovies) . At the end of the lunch , ice cream Italian Gelato and go to the beach for swim and / or sunbathe. Amalfi will be start and arrival point of our excursions, in the same
place at the end of the day we will pick
up our bicycles and customers and will transfer this to the B&B Farmhouse
in Agerola where we will have dinner and sleep. DAY 3 : POMPEII ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXCURSION Departure by van from Agerola to Pompeii.
(12,5miles) In the archeological site we will ride with bikes of superintendence
along special paths for cyclists included in Pompeii site that include the
possibility to lock bikes and continue normal walking visit in traditional
Archaeological site. At the end of the visit we leave to the local restaurant in Vesuvius
area where we will eat menu with local products. At the end of lunch we will transfer our customers to railway station,
airport or hotel in Naples.
