A unique opportunity for wine-lovers and gourmets who wish to discover the glory and grandeur of great French wines and fine food. Our base in Bordeaux could not be more ideally situated. It is in the heart of the Medoc vineyards, and no less than 34 classified châteaux are within 6 miles!
We will organise for you an unforgettable holiday. Opening the doors to some of the most well known châteaux in Bordeaux, your stay will include dream accommodation, and you will be introduced to our world-class wines and to some of the greatest chefs of our area.

The setting: Medoc and Pauillac

On the beautiful banks of the Gironde estuary, Pauillac is one of France’s oldest yachting har-
bours. Nonetheless, the town’s fame stems from its vineyards. There are many Medoc “grands
crus” produced from grapes grown on the hills around the town. Next to one another are the
excellent Château Longueville, Croizet-Bages and Mouton Rothschild vineyards!

In a 17th century Carthusian monastery surrounded by the most prestigious wine-growing
châteaux in the world, the stunning hotel boasts 28 truly charming rooms. The creative cuisine
of our executive chef is reflected in the original flavours of the best Médoc products and the
pursuit of perfect harmony with the best Bordeaux grand crus. Here our chef and his assistants
will introduce you to the many flavours of Bordeaux and the art of wine tasting....

About the executive chef

Our 2-starred Michelin chef’s technical virtuosity is dazzling. Originally from Alsace, he trained
under Joël Robuchon and Alain Chapel and then worked in southern France with Jacques
Maximin before becoming chef, most notably of the Cheval Blanc in Nîmes. Marx has rethought the cooking of the Gironde region with amazing flair. His menus are like an ode to the earth and the river, with his ingredients reflecting all their richness. Dine in the garden and savour the exquisite «Agneau de Pauillac» accompanied by one of the thousand Bordeaux awaiting you in the cellar.   An amazing treat to learn from such a master chef!

Getting there:
The Château is located in the heart of the Médoc.   Closest airport and TGV train station are Bordeaux (45 km).  Nearest local train station is Pauillac (2km)
We strongly recommend to hire a car.  Most big car rental companies are represented at Bordeaux airport.  If you don’t wish to drive, we can arrange for a private chauffeured car throughout your stay.    Additional fees apply.
