Mount Kailash is the sacred mountain of Tibet, and to millions, is the centre of the spiritual universe. Mt Kailash is also one of the world's most exotic and elusive of pilgrimage sites, and because of Mt Kailash's remote location on the Tibetan Plateau, is only visited by hundreds of pilgrims per year.
However, we are experts on the area and can provide a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage for individuals, families and groups into this remote and all-pervading spiritual centre. We start by first acclimatizing you to the high altitude by spending a few days touring Lhasa, Gyangtse and Shigatse before driving out to Mt. Kailash. We plan your trip to arrive at Lake Manasarovar or Darchen on a Full Moon day. Full Moon days are considered "auspicious" in many religions, and are the best days to visit Mt. Kailash.
And as always, an expert trek leader accompanies your tour - as well as one of our "trekking chefs" - to insure your pilgrimage is safe, fun, and gastronomically excellent!
