Itinerary

Our car and driver will meet you at your hotel. From there, the journey begins from ancient Rome to the ruined city of Pompeii. You will take a two (2) hour guided walking tour and learn about what really happened almost 1,950 years ago. Appreciate how life in the Imperial Age was played out, and imagine the terror felt by victims in the last throes of life before the city was so disastrously buried. You will see intricate frescoes, colourful mosaic floors, the Dancing Fawn and petrified bodies. Wander around ancient cobbled streets in the shadow of Mt. Vesuvius. Having seen the ruined city, you'll visit the local historic center for refreshments. Time permitting, you'll be drive down the spectacular Amalfi coast for wonderful views of the Gulf of Naples. More often than not, this involves an extension of the allotted tour time. Your driver will then accompany you back to your Rome hotel.
