We capture the incredible history and geographic diversity of Turkey; combining the historical highlights with a trek in the Taurus Mountains and a cruise off the Aegean shores. An ascent of Emler Peak (3723m) is also on offer for our more ambitious trekkers before travelling to the famous underground cities and incredible rock formations of Cappadocia. A cruise on the azure waters of the Mediterranean provides a further dimension to our journey. Aboard our well-appointed ‘gullet’ (traditional style wooden yacht) we have plenty of time to swim, snorkel and wander the ancient towns that define the coastline. We also undertake a ‘classic’ overland journey to discover the famous historical sites of Ephesus and Troy to complete this remarkable itinerary.
