The largest animal in the world at 100 feet in length and up to 140 tons.  With less than 11,000 remaining in the world, few people experience the thrill of seeing them.  A baby blue whale is about the size of an adult Gray Whale!  If dolphins get you excited, you will be in for a real thrill should we happen upon a pod of dolphins.  We also expect to see humpback whales, sea lions and more.  Part of the adventure on this trip is not knowing just which animal we will come upon next.  There are birds by the thousands and fish by the millions.   And of course having  the opportunity to do some beachcombingand snorkeling is just an added bonus.

Itinerary

Day #1: We meet you upon your arrival at the Los Angeles Airport and your adventure begins. Dinner tonight will bring our group together as we discuss plans for the next week. Our hotel is close to the Harbor and perfect to get into the mood for this very special trip.

Day #2 & 3: Following breakfast we meet at the dock in anticipation of a GREAT morning of whale watching as the transport boat carries us to our first overnight island destination. We expect to see whales and dolphins almost anytime after we have leave the harbor. Upon arrival at the island we disembark and set up camp. All camp gear in provided including personal items such as sleeping bags. There will be time this afternoon to begin exploring this offshore wonderland.

Day #4: Today is departure day from our 1st island. Following breakfast we meet the boat and again enjoy whale and dolphin watching as we return to Ventura Harbor. Tonight we stay in the same hotel as our first night.

Day #5: We depart the dock at 9:00 am for a day of whale watching, returning to shore around 1 or 2 in the afternoon. Tonight we stay in the same hotel once again.

Day #6: This morning we begin our second island overnighter. We again take the transport boat to the second island where we have lots of time to explore the island.

Day #7: Today is departure day. We again have the opportunity to view dolphin and whales as the transport boat returns us to shore. Upon arrival in the late afternoon we will transport you to the airport for your return home.
