First of all, I have been to 78 countries, and I can honestly say this was the trip of a lifetime. The ship was absolutely wonderful, the crew adorable and the Islands just simply, simply magical.

We had a wonderful time in Rio, Iguassu Falls, Manaus, Anavilhanas lodge and Sao Paulo. You had taken care of us very well! We were met by someone at all the places. All the guides were knowledgeable and very helpful. I must make a special mention about Gustavo in Sao Paulo. He was just wonderful and friendly. Again, thanks a million! Regards, k.bala

Itinerary
Day 1 Easter Island (B/-/-)
Reception by one of our representatives at the Easter Island Airport (Mataveri – The world’s most remote airport) with a typical flower necklace and transfer to hotel with english speaking guide. Take the rest of the day to walk trough this magnificent and unique Island.
At night you can go out to the town and enjoy a nice dinner show at Matato’a.
Day 2: Easter Island (B/ BL /-)
Full Day Private Excursion to Anakena Beach
Drive to the south coast and visit representative examples of un-restored platforms, Ahus: Vaihu and Akahanga. Proceed to Rano Raraku, a quarry with almost 900 stone statues, 397 of them still lying or standing at the slopes of the extinct volcano with a crater lake. Then visit Ahu Tongariki (restored with 15 Moais), the most recent and largest restoration on the island. Drive to the east coast and visit Ahu Te Pito Kura and the “Navel of the World”. Last but not least visit the beach of Anakena with its restored Ahus: Nau Nau and Ature Huke. There you will have the opportunity to enjoy the warm Pacific Ocean and the only white sandy beach in the island. Back to hotel.
Day 3: Easter Island (B/- /-)
AM Half Day Private Excursion to Orongo
Drive up the extinct volcano Rano Kau, appreciate on the way a view over the whole island and see its distinct geological features, proceed to an outlook at the Crater Lake. Afterwards drive to the ceremonial village of Orongo, where the birdman competition took place and you can see the spectacular petroglyphs related to this culture, see the 3 islets Motu Nui, Motu Iti and Motu Kao Kao opposite the coast. Drive down again to Ahu Vinapu (not restored) and for some still proof of the influence of pre-inca arquitects in Easter Island culture. Last stop is Ana Kai Tangata cave with paintings.
Back to hotel or to enjoy a nice lunch in town, we recommend Haka Honu where you will taste the esquisite gastronomy.
PM Half Day Private Excursion to Akivi
Drive to the restored Ahu Akivi with 7 Moais, built in the middle of the island. Legend tells that these statues are representing the 7 explorers who were sent to Rapa Nui by the king Hotu Matua and are the only ones facing the ocean.
Proceed to the un-restored Ahu Hanga Poukura. Then visit the topknot-quarry Puna Pau with its red scoria stone, where all the Pukaos were made. Also visit the ceremonial site of Tahai with 3 Ahus and restored statues, remains of boathouses, a boat ramp and other features. Here see the only statue with eyes and hopefully a stunning sunset. Back to the hotel.
Day 4: Easter Island - OUT (B/-/-)
At the scheduled time transfer to the airport to take your flight back to the continent and receive a farewell gift before leaving the island.
