New York City becomes a magical winter wonderland for the holidays. There is skating in Central Park, the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall, the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, the Nutcracker at Lincoln Center and on and on. What fun it is to check out the holiday window displays at some of the department stores and do a little shopping. Our four days in New York City will include a Rockettes show, a walking tour of the holiday decorations, and time to explore the city. We always enjoy going to New York city during the holidays and know you'll love it too!

Itinerary

Thursday, November 29: Arrive New York City; Welcome Reception
Schedule arrival into New York City no later than 4:00pm to have time to transfer to the hotel and check in. Should you arrive earlier in the day, go exploring or relax. The tour begins at 6:00pm in the lobby of the hotel. We will meet as a group in the hotel and enjoy a welcome reception to get acquainted.

Friday, November 30: NY Botanical Gardens Christmas Display; A Christmas Walking Tour of Rockefeller Center and 5th Avenue Window Displays (B)
Experience the magic of New York City dressed to the nines for the holidays. The New York Botanical Garden's annual Holiday Train Show has become a cherished seasonal tradition for families not just in New York, but across the country. Marvel as G-scale model trains puff along a half-mile of track in and around the 140 landmark buildings constructed entirely of natural materials: nuts, tree bark, fruits, pinecones, and leaves, housed within the warmth of the historic Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. A Christmas Walking Tour of Park Avenue, 5th Avenue and Rockefeller Center will be a highlight of the evening.

Saturday, December 1: Free Day; Radio City Christmas Show; Group Dinner (B,D)
This morning is free time to give you time to visit special places you have always wanted to see. In the afternoon we will visit the world-famous Radio City Rockettes with a cast and crew of hundreds, an awe-inspiring Living Nativity with live animals, and magnificent special effects. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular is an unparalleled Christmas show with universal appeal that lifts the spirit and creates memories including such highlights as the Wooden Soldier and Christmas in New York. We will gather tonight for our own holiday dinner.

Sunday, December 2 – Return Home (B)
Schedule your departure at your convenience. The WTT tour leader will help coordinate airport transfers via taxi or airport shuttle.
