Itinerary

Day 1: from Bari airport the private transfer will take you to the Hotel, in the centre of Matera, check in and room accommodation. At lunch, tasting of cheese and salami of Materàs mountain and during the afternoon yoùll take part in a private tour of the Matera Stones (Sassi di Matera). Typical dinner in a restaurant in Matera. Return to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 2: Breakfast in the hotel. During the morning yoùll enjoy a bread workshop in an old wood-burning bakery. Then there will be the visit of the enchanting archaeological park of Murgia Materana to discover the old rock churches and the treasures of old civilizations. Lunch in a farm and return to Matera. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: After breakfast in hotel, private transfer to Venosa, the birth place of Horatio. Wine tasting in a typical cellar. Private transfer to Trivigno and accomodation in a farm holiday (agriturismo). Free time to enjoy a walking through the green Appennines mountains. Dinner and overnight stay in the farm holiday.

Day 4: After breakfast, private transfer to Pietrapertosa and walking tour in the Lucanian Dolomites. Transfer back to Trivigno and in the afternoon yoùll take part to a cooking class, with the Bandit Menu, which allows you to discover the traditional dishes of Basilicata. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: After breakfast check-out and departure.
