Itinerary
Day 1
Upon your arrival at the Calgary International Airport, your driver will meet you for the scenic two-hour journey through Alberta’s Foothills to the townsite of Banff in Banff National Park. Tonight, explore your hotel and its snow-covered grounds, or take a walk down to the village.
Days 2-7
Begin your Tri-Mountain ski experience on Mount Norquay. Located just above Banff, it offers a vertical rise of 1,650 ft. (503 m) and a wide range of ski terrain. It features 25 runs, the longest being 3,828 ft. (1,167 m), for a total of 10.2 miles (16.4 km). Mount Norquay has 90% snow making capacity (and an average natural snowfall of 300 cm or120 inches) and offers some of the best grooming in the Rockies. In addition, it offers the rare experience of night skiing once a week between January and the end of March.
The second mountain included on your Tri-Mountain pass is Sunshine Village. Located on the Continental Divide, Sunshine offers a vast bowl of deep snow with an average of 30 ft. of powder and the longest ski season in Canada. Throughout Sunshine’s history, all development has been carefully designed to harmonize with the natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies and Banff National Park. With a vertical rise of 3,514 ft. (1,070 m), Sunshine is especially great for intermediate skiers. It features 89 runs, the longest being 8 km (5 miles), for a total of 52 miles (82 km).
The third mountain included on your Tri-Mountain ski pass is Lake Louise. One of Canada’s largest ski areas with a 3,250 ft. vertical drop, Lake Louise is spread over four mountain faces. With a vertical rise of 3,250 ft. (1,000 m), 1000 ski-able acres, 100 named runs and four mountain faces to choose from, this alpine terrain offers tons of variety. Every chair lift has both an easy and a more difficult way down, allowing everyone from novice to expert to enjoy and explore the whole mountain, including the famed back bowls. It features 105 runs, the longest being 8 km (5 miles), for a total of 62 miles (100 km).
