Doune Castle is an amazing medieval castle, built in the 14th century. In Outlander, it stands in for the fictional Castle Leoh, a home to Jamie’s uncle. The Blackness Castle (Fort William in Outlander), a 15th century castle, is often described as the ship that never sailed, because of its uncommon shape. You’ll also visit the Midhope House, known as Jamie’s fictional home – Lallybroch. Finally, you’ll come to Edinburgh.
