Day 1: Welcome to Hanoi | Meal: D | Overnight: Hanoi
Warm welcome upon your arrival in Hanoi. Your guide will meet you at the airport for a transfer to your hotel located in the downtown. After check in you have free time to relax, then your guide see you again for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Your day will be completed by a water puppet show – a unique art performance in Vietnam.
Day 2: Hanoi full-day tour| Meal: B-L | Overnight: Hanoi
This full day tour offers you Hanoi’s most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, House-on-Stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda followed by Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc pagoda, the oldest pagoda originally constructed in the sixth century. For lunch you enjoy a Hanoi special dish “Cha Ca” at one of the most unique restaurants located in the Hanoi Old Quarter. Afternoon you visit the Temple of Literature then having a walk around the Sword Lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee at a street-pub. At leisure.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay | Meal: B-L-D | Overnight: Traditional Junk
In the morning you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay via the Red River Delta. Enjoy welcome drink onboard then start cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay while lunch is served. Stop to visit and explore Vung Vieng fishing village by bamboo boat or you can have a kayak around Vung Vieng area. Time to relax, sunbath or swimming at Ban Chan Beach. Back to the junk to enjoy the sunset cocktail while the boat is cruising to Cong Do area docking for overnight. BBQ dinner followed by some activities of board games or squid fishing.
Day 4: Fly to Hoi An | Meal : B-L-D | Overnight: Hoi An
Early bird with exercises with Tai chi on the sundeck then enjoy a light breakfast while cruising to Hon Co area. Stop to exploring Thien Canh Son Cave, located at the centre of the World Heritage Area- Halong Bay. Return to the boat for check out and relaxing on sundeck or watching fruits carving demonstration or enjoy the last of the Ha Long Bay scenery over lunch as the boat is cruising back to shore. On the journey to Hanoi airport you have a stop at the Phu Lang ceramic village – one of the most famous ceramic brand dated from 17th – 19th. Meet you local guide at Danang airport for a transfer to hotel. Evening your guide meet you again for dinner at local restaurant.
Day 5: Hoi An & Tra Que village| Meal: B-D | Overnight: Hoi An
You start the day with a walking tour to explore the Ancient town with old houses, narrow streets, moss-grown walls, lantern makers and visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Handicraft workshop and enjoy traditional arts performance. Afternoon you ride by bicycle to Tra Que Vegetable village where you can join with the local farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing with seaweed from the local lake. It is also good time to relax and learn more about the Vietnamese village. Biking back to Hoi An and enjoy some famous dishes of the town.
Day 6: Hoi An – Hue | Meal: B-D| Overnight: Hue
Today you leave Hoi An for Hue. Located in central Vietnam, the World Cultural Heritage Site Hue used to be the Citadel of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945. Stop to visit king Minh Mang’s tomb and king Tu Duc’s tomb. In the afternoon you explore the Hue Citadel and the Forbidden city followed by Dong Ba market on a bank of the Perfume river – a paradise for snapshots of daily activities. Evening meeting with your guide again for a Hue Royal style dinner, taste some Royal cuisines at local restaurant.
Day 7: Fly to Ho Chi Minh city | Half-day Tour | Meal: B-D | Overnight: HCMC
Again you take an one-hour flight to Ho Chi Minh city, the most dynamic one where everyone seems busy riding, buying, selling, studying. However, the city’s core is still adorned with wide elegant boulevards and historic French colonial buildings. In the afternoon you visit some famous attractions such as Reunification Palace, Municipal Theatre, City Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral and the War Remnants Museum then having a walk through the city downtown and end up at the Ben Thanh market, the city’s biggest market. Tonight you dinner on the Lady Hau cruises on the Saigon river.
Day 8: Mekong Delta Excursion | Meal: B-L | Overnight: HCMC
Today you have am excursion to the Mekong Delta. Surrounded by thousands of crisscrossed canals, life in the Mekong Delta revolves much around the river, most of the villages are often accessible by rivers and canals rather than by road. Upon arrival you take a motor-boat to explore the Thoi Son islet, one of the four famous islets ( Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix). Following a village path passing local houses to visit some family-run coconut candy mills then you take a horse-cart from village to village. Enjoy lunch with local special dishes followed by the “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, a very common art activity in the Mekong Delta performed by local people. Back to HCMC. At leisure.
Day 9: Fly to Siem Reap | Meal: B-D | Overnight: Sieam Reap
Enjoy your free time until transfer to airport for flight to Siem Reap, one of the major tourist hub in Cambodia and the gateway to the world famous temples of Angkor. Meet your local guide for transfer to hotel. Free time to relax, then you explore the city by Tuk Tuk riding around the suburb of Siem Reap followed by a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and safety. Tonight you enjoy dinner with Apsara Dance show at the local restaurant.
Day 10: Angkor Wat Sunrise & Angkor Complex | Meal : B -L | Overnight: Sieam Reap
Early wake up in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over the Angkor Temple then you discover the Angkor Wat, a temple complex built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. Continue to explore the ruins including the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the Preah Khan temple. In the afternoon you explore the fabulous Ta Prohm temple which embraced by fig and silk-cotton trees puncture the roofs of Ta Prohm’s towers. End of the day you enjoy the sunset at the Preah Rup temple. At leisure.
Day 11: Departure Siem Reap | Meal: B
In the morning you have a drive to the Phnom Kulen Mountain. Climb up the hill to visit the Srah Damrey, Damreay Krab and Ang Prochiev temple followed by a nice trail of Kulen mountain to reach a special stream with thousands lingas in the water. Short break before transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure. Have a nice journey and thanks for joining us.
