Day 1: Arrival
and Transfer to Kalaw (-, - ,-)
Your guide
and private car will welcome you at the Heho Airport and transfer to Kalaw, the
former British hill station. Enjoy this scenic drive into the heart of the Shan
State. Upon arrival in Kalaw, check in and take a short walking tour of the
town centre and view the local and colonial-style houses. The slightly higher
elevation offers cool, crisp sightseeing weather. Dinner this evening at your
leisure.

Day 2: Kalaw
Trekking ( B, L, D )
After
breakfast visit Kalaw’s small yet vibrant morning market. Depending on the day
you may see Pa-Oh, Shan or Danu vendors in traditional dress buying and selling
their wares.Travel one hour by car to the starting point of the trek. Then, off
on foot for a 2 hour trek to KoneHla village. You’ll enjoy beautiful views of
wheat, potatoes and ginger famrs as you pass through Baw HninKone and HtunKom
Village. After lunch, trek 2.5 hours enjoying stunning views of the Shan
Mountain Range. Travel through Pack TuPouk Village to HteeTein, your overnight
stop. Reach HteeTein during the late
afternoon. You will have the unique experience of staying overnight in the
village house or monastery, with basic yet comfortable accommodations. An
authentic dinner will be prepared and served in local house.

Day 3: Than Taung
Village & Inle( B,L, - )
After a hearty breakfast, begin your 4 hour trek
to Inle Lake. You will pass through a
variety of scenery including picturesque farmland, lush rolling hills and views
of the lake at you near Than Daung village. Along the way you will see The
Pa-O, Danu, TaungYoe and Inthar Tribes. The Pa-O are dressed uniquely with the
men and women wearing long black pants and black shirts, and women wearing
colorful turbans and large earrings. Reach ThanDaung midday. Enjoy lunch and
witness the local culture as you walk to the jetty where your boat private is
waiting. Transfer across the lake to your hotel where your bags will be
waiting. Check in and enjoy the quiet views.

in inle Lake

Day 4: Inle Lake

Breakfast
will be served at your hotel. There are no services provided today but should
you wish to add an Inle Lake day trip or airport transfer please ask your
travel consultant.
NOTE: This
program is available year-round, however we recommend the months of October to
February as the weather is cool and dry and the fields are very colorful.
