Itinerary

Day 01; Arrive Kolkata

On arrival at Kolkata airport meet with our office representative, assistance and transfer to hotel (hotel check in / out time is 1200hrs afternoon early check in subject to rooms availability). Later city tour of Kolkata visiting historical landmarks the magnificent Fort William, Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge & Zoological Gardens. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 02; Kolkata – Sunderban National Park

Breakfast at hotel drive to Sunderban National Park, the natural abode of the famous Royal Bengal Tigers and numerous crocodiles, snakes and deer. This forest with entwining rivers is one of the last strongholds of the wild world. Boat cruise in the park. Overnight at hotel/ resort or in a Boat anchored in middle of the river. 

 

Day 03; Sunderban National Park

After breakfast, cruise with the vessel along the creeks and take a village tour. Meet the fishermen, the Honey Collectors as well as the woodcutters and share their experiences of the Jungle. Next, visit the Sudhanyakhali watch tower, most of the Royal Bengal Tigers are sighted from this tower. Overnight at hotel/ resort or in a Boat anchored in middle of the river. 

 

Day 04; Sunderban NP – Kolkata (Drive) / Kolkata – Bagdogra (Flight) – Darjeeling (62kms/ 2hrs Approx)

Breakfast at hotel motor boat transfer to Sonakhali/ Godhkhali jetty. From here drive to Kolkata, direct transfer to airport to board flight for Bagdogra. At Bagdogra airport meet your driver and proceed to Darjeeling check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 05: Darjeeling

Early Morning 4AM pick up for visiting Tiger Hill for spectacular view of colour full sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PN. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Ropeway view point, Tibetans Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Happy valley Tea Garden (outer view) and Lioyed botanical garden. Afternoon Toy Train Joyride. Evening free to explore the market. Overnight at hotel. 


 
Day 06: Darjeeling – Pelling (75kms/ 3hrs Approx)

Breakfast at hotel drive to Pelling check in at hotel. Later visit Pemayangtse Monastery & Rabdentse Ruin. Rest time to explore the sight of you interest. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 07: Pelling – Gangtok (120kms/ 4hrs Approx)

Breakfast at hotel drive to Gangtok via NH 31A passing thru Temi, Taraku, Singtam, Rangpo, Ranipool. The journey is surrounded by lush green forests and Tea Gardens with eye catching picturesque view. On the way stop and have a sip of local Sikkimese tea. Arrive and check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 08: Gangtok

Breakfast at hotel visit Rumtek Monastery, Insitute of Tibetology, Enchey Monastery & Hanuman Tok is a Hindu temple. Rest time to explore the sites of your interest and visiting the local market. Overnight at hotel.


 
Day 09: Gangtok – Kalimpong (75kms/ 2hrs Approx)

Breakfast at hotel drive to Kalimpong check in at hotel. Later sightseeing visiting Durpin Monastery, Dr Graham's Homes, Sherpa View Point, Durga Mandir & Mangal Dham. Rest time to relax and visit the local market. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 10: Kalimpong – Bagdogra (75kms/ 2hrs Approx)

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Bagdogra airport to board flight for Kolkata. From Kolkata board connecting flight for your onward destination.

We recommend to book international departure flight departing after 2000hrs or later. Vehicle will be provide in Kolkata if require during transit period for visiting any place of your interest.
