Itinerary

on your second day after arrival, you will start with game safari in Akagera National Park Rwanda, your full day safari game drive accompanied by our professional tour guides, driving through the incredible landscape of Akagera National Park. The varied landscape is shown through the different species spotted here. Visitors to the park will be able to view a range of wildlife on expertly-guided game drives, walks and boating trips, including buffalo, lion, leopard, elephant, giraffe, spotted hyena, zebra and more. The game drive takes around five hours. Next will be your transfer to the Cultural Heritage Corridor of Rwanda and visit the King’s Palace and the Ethnographic Museum in Huye. We then head to Nyungwe National Park, home to to 75 different species of mammal for your canopy walk. This bridge adjourned between the huge trees one on the feel of the fresh air, 60m above the forest floor. Apart from the freshness in the air and the wonderful aerial view of the trees, you will also enjoy the sights of blue monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys, black and white colobus, the red tailed monkeys and the fantastic birds that fly across as you enjoy the walk. We will continue to Volcanoes National Park via Lake Kivu for your Unrivalled Gorilla trekking! Wake up, breakfast and drive the short journey to the park headquarters before 7:30 AM where briefing, porters and tea and coffee will be given before starting the adventure into the forest.
Next will be to cross the border Rwanda-Uganda via Lake Bunyonyi. You may choose one of these activities; canoeing, boat riding, local tours, swimming, hiking the highland near the lack, pygmy village tour and birding before you proceed for Queen Elisabeth National Park via Ruhija & reach Ishasha sector for a short game drive to see the tree-climbing lions. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will see lots of bird species, crocodiles, hippos, buffalos, and elephants among others. From Queen Elisabeth National park to Kibale National Park and then to Murchison Falls National Park via  Zziwa Rhino sanctuary via Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary situated in Nakasongola District, near Nakitoma Village, in the north of Kampala along Kampala-Gulu highway. Established in 2005, the sanctuary was used to re-introduce the Rhinos by the Rhino Fund Uganda. Zziwa is the only place where you can track rhinos on foot; it is really great and exciting as you watch the white rhinoceros and finish with hot air ballooning and boat cruises within the park
