OK, there is some confusion about the name of the company. We are actually two companies under the same management. socialtours.com travels is our tour company and flagship and socialtreks.com adventures is our specialist trekking company. Under Nepalese law, tour companies are allowed to sell treks but not organise them. Hence we have the trekking arm.

This section of the website will try and explain who we are, and why we do what we do. It will also try and update you on the insides of the organisation, who works where and is responsible for what.

We will also try and explain our vision, mission and our values, and the little steps we are taking in the realm of responsible travel, trying hard to make a small difference in the way tourism is handled in this world.

We will explain the charities we support, how we try and give back to society, and the inroads we are making in this regards. You will in the process get introduced to our partners in progress, the associations we have with different agencies around us, and why we are associated with them.
