This is a walking safari of epic proportions
as you traverse the densest elephant
country in the world. You will bridge, on
foot, the Okavango and Linyanti swamps of
Botswana’s north west.

Itinerary

DAYS 1 – 2: JOHANNESBURG,
SOUTH AFRICA / MAUN, BOTSWANA
/ OKAVANGO DELTA
On arrival in Johannesburg, you will connect
with your fl ight to Maun in Botswana and
onto your fi rst safari camp. Here you enjoy
two nights, acclimatising and partaking
in traditional safari activities. This also
enables an opportunity to rehearse walk
procedures.

DAYS 3 – 7: OKAVANGO DELTA /
LINYANTI
The area through which you walk is true
wilderness, far from civilisation. Escorted by
two of Africa’s best walking guides, you will
cover approximately 130 km (80 miles) over
six days through the thickest elephant country
in the world. With the potential of encountering
lion, buffalo and leopard on foot, this is not for
the faint hearted. You will be fully supported
throughout by your own private camp, which
means a hot shower and a good night’s sleep at
the day’s end.

DAYS 8 – 9: LINYANTI
Spend two rewarding nights of R&R in a
luxury tented safari camp, refl ecting on your
achievements.

DAY 10: LINYANTI / JOHANNESBURG,
SOUTH AFRICA
Fly to Johannesburg and link with your outgoing
fl ight.
