Itinerary

DAY 1: DARWIN, NORTHERN
TERRITORY
Today you meet in Darwin and fl y by light
aircraft to Bullo River. Traversing typical
gulf savannah scenery, your fi rst stop is a
half million acre cattle station where you
experience day-to-day life in the outback.

DAYS 2 – 3: BULLO RIVER,
WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Everything about the Kimberley in northwestern
Australia is big, except for the
crowds. The skies and sea are bluer
than most, the stars are brighter, the
distances vast, the baobab trees ancient,
the picturesque gorges abundant and the
characters quintessentially Australian.

DAYS 4 – 6: FARAWAY BAY
Fly over countless untouched beaches before
touching down at a luxury bush camp in the middle
of nowhere. Catch a barramundi for dinner while
cruising below towering sandstone gorges and
viewing ancient aboriginal rock art.

DAYS 7 – 8: KUNUNURRA / EL QUESTRO
As a fi nalé you visit one of Australia’s iconic
landmarks; the red and black beehive domes of
the Bungle Bungles. These, and the abutments
of El Questro, provide a stunning contrast to the
blues of the coast.

DAY 9: KUNUNURRA
Return to Kununurra to connect with your onward
fl ight.
Epic suggests extending your trip with a visit to
Broome, or diving with whale sharks at Ningaloo
Reef (Apr – May).
