Our name, Extraordinary Journeys says what we believe in and what we do for you.  We know Africa – we’ve lived there and we return frequently and we’re always discovering new safari camps and beaches that we want to share with you. A continent’s worth of choices await you, but whatever you choose, all will feature the hallmarks of an Extraordinary Journey – adventure, romance, luxury, and excitement.

Remember, travel begins with pausing – only then can you hear the summons of a distant land. Respond, and soon you could be sleeping in a luxuriously appointed  safari tent overlooking the Great Rift Valley, dreaming of the morning’s al fresco breakfast served in the bush by your guide.  Expect to write in your journal about the oriental carpets underfoot, the excitement of the game drives, and the meals that are so delicious you always eat your vegetables.

You may hear your inner trekker say that the landscape looks best when viewed from the back of a horse or camel, or from a canoe while riding the rapids, or – yes! – from the air in the cockpit of a World War II fighter plane.  Or you may want to focus on an underwater world visible only while snorkeling off a private beach.  Listen and you will hear the many voices of a people who want to welcome you to their villages and their way of life.
